AI used to crack a 19 year old case. My opinions on how helpful #AI is for law agencies and other daily activities. Plz understand: solely on the basis of AI image enhancing or image modifications algorithms it’s not going to be easy for any court in the world to take decisions. These algorithms add predicted data in the image via mathematical calculations. Over the time the accuracy of the algorithms would be rated, proper benchmarks would be created, and regulatory bodies will take decisions on how reliable a given algorithm (and in what given circumstances) could be reliable. In this case the AI has helped police in tracking the accused persons. For framing charges and for legal proceedings in the court they would go with other proofs as well. Also as I said in the video at the last, in countries where the digital surveillance of govt on the activities of common man is too high, AI could be used by the law enforcement agencies on another level. Though that would initiate a usual debate on safety of citizens vs privacy of citizens. #ArtificialIntelligence #law #police #cops

2/ Few days back, the Zee News had covered my opinions on the same topic. Foreign companies like WhatsApp generally take few days in providing response to police (it varies even from states to states, even police unit to unit), so somewhere the cops 👮‍♂️ won’t support this feature.
