She was Alice Regina Mulenga Lubusha, but Bembas pronounced Regina as "Lenshina". In 1953, Lenshina went to see Rev. Fergus Macpherson who was a Church of Scotland missionary stationed at Lubwa. She told Rev. Macpherson that she had risen from the dead, not once..but four times. At her last rising, she said, she met Jesus at a river and Jesus told "his people" to send her back because her time hadn't come yet. Jesus then commanded Lenshina to start a church for "Africans". Unfortunately, many villagers fell for this and this was the beginning of Lenshina's cult. Lumpa cult members were given "passports to heaven" and told that if they died for Lenshina's cause, they would go straight to heaven. Lumpa cult members wiped out entire villages. In Lundazi, when they arrived at the Boma, they slaughtered all the Indian shop owners and then killed everyone at a village called Mbambo. The mass grave is still there today. My mother, who is still alive today was a teenager when their village was attacked. She described what she saw as they were running away. Ahead of the Lumpa attackers was a woman completely naked shouting "Jerico, Jerico, Jerico". The few men who tried to defend the village were overwhelmed by the mass of the attackers. No one was spared, babies hacked into pieces. It really upsets me when I see some sections of our society painting Lenshina as some sort of victim. She was a leader of a murderous cult.

The plot is that an African emperor impounds two American astronauts after they crash land on his territory. I got bored last night and seeing as ECZ hasn't published a map of the 2026 contituencies, I went ahead and created one. I basically looked up the longitude and latitude for EACH constituency and plotted them on the map (yeah, I was really bored). Then I used ChatGPT Codex to extract the candidates from a CSV file that I created and assign them to the contituencies. The worst part is that Lenshina ordered them not to disband and when they were ordered to surrender, Lumpa members charged Zambian soldiers who were manning Bren guns. They were told that if they smeared some potion on their bodies, they would be impervious to bullets!!! Crazy stuff
