in Scotland we don’t even get an NHS bursary, and get £360 maintenance loan per month. my rent is £450 per month. it is assumed that our parents are well off enough to be able to help out, which isn’t the case for a lot of people. #LiveableNHSbursary

I don’t usually like to talk about finances but the NHS bursary provided only £4567 which left me with a whole £114(!) after rent. I’ve worked 3 different jobs throughout med school and all that money earned is gone. Currently looking for another job before FY begins in August 🥲
