Priority needs in healthcare aren’t always about robotic-assisted surgical devices or PET CT Scanners -- sometimes it’s simply a drink of water.
I’m grateful for 3 things: first, hospital leadership knew they could bring this request to our Foundation; second, we have funds available because of forward-thinking donors; and third, Artic Chiller echoed our desire to help those in need by providing discounted water.
As the temperature climbs, so too does the chance of heat-related illness. The @rahfoundation provided bottled water for patients at the Royal Alex Emergency Department, Social Work Department, and for distribution across the campus by security teams when the need was evident.
