What happens when you put the people building the agentic economy in one room? Amsterdam just showed us. 🙏 This week, as part of @DutchBlockWeek, Agentic Day | Amsterdam Edition brought together a curated room of decision-makers who flew in from San Francisco, Cape Town, London, Singapore, Germany — and beyond. We went deep on what actually matters as AI moves from telling us things to doing them: stablecoins and payment rails, how VCs value AI-native ecosystems, MiCA, and AI-driven trading — alongside live demos and an institutional brunch with the women shaping this space. But the moment that defined the day wasn’t on a slide. Through Tap2Feed, our closing give-back, we helped feed 194 people facing malnutrition. That’s the point: AI that gives back — with proof. None of this happens alone. Our Director of Global Affairs, @jg13nn joined the panel MiCA & The Regulated Agentic Economy at @AgenticDay during @DutchBlockWeek, bringing the non-EU vantage point to a conversation on navigating Europe's flagship crypto regulation in an AI-driven market! 🇪🇺 A few of the points he raised: → MiCA's real achievement is treating crypto as infrastructure that requires accountability, not a fringe asset class to ban or ignore. → In an #agentic economy, compliance can't be a document you file once a quarter. When an #AI agent acts, the questions are immediate: was it authorised, on whose behalf, and can you prove what it did? → You answer that with infrastructure: verifiable agent identity, auditable provenance, and an on-chain record no one can quietly rewrite. This is the moment #blockchain stops being what regulation discusses, and becomes what makes regulation enforceable.
