i hate the " sukuna abuses women " thing - people keep saying sukuna would go around slapping women or abusing them just because he's evil. no. would he kill a woman without a second thought if she stood in his way? absolutely. he'd kill anyone without hesitation if they were in his way. that's the point. but i don't think he'd get any satisfaction out of tormenting someone who can't fight back or defend themselves. there's nothing to gain from it. if a woman disrespected him, challenged him, or gave him a reason to make an example out of her, then yes, i can absolutely see him making her suffer. not because she's a woman, but because she crossed him. that's completely different from him seeking out women just to abuse them for fun. people forget that sukuna isn't driven by misogyny. he's driven by strength, ego, and his own amusement. he doesn't sort people into men and women. he sorts them into those worth acknowledging and those beneath his notice. fear is already enough for him. most people are terrified the moment they see him. he doesn't need to prove his dominance by bullying someone who's already helpless. a lot of this "he'd abuse women because he's evil" discourse honestly feels like certain alpha male fans projecting their own weird misogynistic fantasies onto him. they seem to think that because sukuna is a villain, he'd automatically get off on abusing women specifically. that's not characterization. that's projection. sukuna is cruel, violent, and monstrous, but his cruelty has a purpose. he kills because he wants to, because someone challenged him, or because they're insignificant enough to erase without a second thought. that's very different from inventing a version of him who's obsessed with degrading women just because some fans think that's what being an "alpha male" looks like.
