@JRPrince8 Akira tried to end it with the Cell saga.Gohan being the one to kill him is like goku passign the torch to him and ending goku story.The studio wouldn't have it and didn't even accept Gohan being the main character since Goku was the icon and forced Akira to make a new Goku saga.
