@HallowedSquire @OROLOGICREMSI This argument fails because Faust keeps most things about Dante's past a secret due to the flow which extends to hiding which gender Dante used to be and Vergil is probably contractually obligated to do the same. And it would be weird if the events just spoiled the game's plot.

@OROLOGICREMSI I suspect there will be a plot line later where Dante finds out about their past and goes "I am not that person, I am Dante... (they/them)" but until that happens it's silly to think it's for anything aside from the characters simply not knowing how else to refer to Dante.

@OROLOGICREMSI Eh, Dante not knowing or having an identity and slowly molding a personality for themselves is clearly a big part of their arc, they literally do not know anything about themselves and nobody else does and those who do do not tell them because of plot reasons.

@Krokodice @neogeo8man You consider it the peak of his career, sure, but he's clearly hurt by the fact that he hasn't managed to be anything but a "youtube guy" even though he believes he can do a lot better which is contrasted against AVGN who overall had a nice career and life as a youtube guy.
