Ecuador is one of the most expensive countries in Latin America due to having the dollar as official currency. It doesn't really reflect in salaries, plus there's an economic crisis going on for they past three or so years. The reason why it's not that good for women is, because most hot women have actually left the country to flee from the political situation. Not that those are the women who Passport Bros generally go for, but just saying. That being said, it's not that bad either. The quality is generally far behind Colombia, but similar talent at the top end. I always had a good time, even in 2024. On top of that, dating is far safer than Colombia in 2025.

Fair point. Which areas do you reckon are walkable? For me even the way from Sol to Paseo Galeria, although short, is not a very convenient walk (crossing the main road a bit of a pain, sidewalk is dusty and not plastered, I've seen people falling there. If it rains you'll ruin your shoes). And it's supposed to be THE main area in town.
