Residents struggle with failing septic tanks. Especially for cross-jurisdictional communities like this one, policymakers need to address provision and enforcement of water and sanitation quality, fully acknowledging inherent cost and equity issues.

Education and outreach needs vary by type of facility (Assisted Living vs. Nursing home). TX epidemiologists reached 4x as many facilities via remote comp. to onsite infection control assessments.

This is America and it ought to concern all of us. Environmental injustice is the choice of cooperations and community leaders to not care about the well-being of citizens. So close to New York, raw sewage backs up in people's basements. This is America.
