@Damaged_Joker I don't think I would name any composer as being "guilty" in this whole scenario. It's so systemic.
An example from almost 15 years ago: 20th Century Fox's THE EDGE (1997) vs. Dreamworks/WB's THE TIME MACHINE (2002)
And just to complete the circle: Paramount's TRANSFORMERS: ROTF (2009) vs. Paramount's (now Disney's) THOR (2011)
@lizzy_eats_pie Instructors at (I think it was USC?) said it was the single most temped music into student films from like 2000 to 2010.
But then of course there's this: Zack Hemsey's "Mind Heist" (2010) vs. Paramount's TRANSFORMERS: DOTM (2011)
This one is possible temp, we're not sure. Warner Bros.' THE DARK KNIGHT vs. Paramount's TRANSFORMERS: DOTM (2011)
Let's consider the TRANSFORMERS films: here's Dreamworks' AMERICAN BEAUTY (1999) vs. Paramount's TRANSFORMERS (2007)
