It’s with a heavy heart that I’m writing this, I really don’t know what to write apart from our beautiful daughter Kelsie passed away this morning, I’m absolutely heartbroken and don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by writing this but I need to let everyone know so I can hide away for a couple of days. RIP and finally breathe easy my little girl. #cysticfibrosis

Trabalhei por uns bons 20 anos em vários projetos em Fernando de Noronha; fiz muitas amizades no tempo que passei por lá. Mas já faz uns 10 anos que não volto à ilha. Mesmo assim, continuo em contato com meus amigos e todos concordam numa coisa: Noronha não é mais a mesma. Agora tá mais pra um mistura de Ilha de Caras com Farofa da Gkay. Ontem, encontrei umas amigas que moram lá há mais de 20 anos e elas contaram várias coisas que estão acontecendo por lá. Vou compartilhar algumas aqui. Um dos problemas que elas mencionaram é a invasão de guarda-sóis. Das praias do Porto até Cacimba do Padre, tá cheio de guarda-sóis por toda parte, exceto a Praia do Americano, que ainda continua livre. O aluguel de um guarda-sol com 4 cadeiras custa entre 50 e 100 reais. E se você tenta levar o seu próprio guarda-sol, é provável que seja hostilizado pelos que alugam, tipo aqueles flanelinhas que não deixam você estacionar o carro na “vaga deles” se não pagar. Parece até uma besteira para quem está acostumado as praias lotadas de guarda-sóis, mas isso não existia em Noronha onde os espaços públicos não eram loteados e você usava o pedaço de areia de graça.
