Sparrow 2.0.0 now includes support for the Trezor Safe 5, Ledger Stax and Ledger Flex hardware wallets. In addition, there is support for recovering SLIP39 mnemonic shares to a hot wallet, with File > New Wallet > Software Wallet.
Sparrow v1.8.4 has been released to fix a build issue affecting Sparrow Terminal. The normal desktop app is unaffected. That said, for those who already upgraded to v1.8.3, it's a good opportunity to test the Download Verifier:
This release also has support for new hardware wallets, including the @COLDCARDwallet Q1 and @Trezor Safe 3. QR reading has also been further improved, with Sparrow now using 3 different QR readers on a wide, cropped and inverted frame.
Other improvements include creating wallets from descriptors containing master xprvs, encrypted Electrum wallet exports, and display of the master fingerprint when entering a passphrase in Sparrow Terminal. See more: github.com/sparrowwallet/…
Sparrow Terminal has been improved, supporting freezing and unfreezing of UTXOs by pressing the 'f' key. If a proxy has been configured, its status is now indicated in the title bar.
Other improvements include the ability to open multiple wallet or transaction files at once, fee rate selection on the Private Key Sweep dialog, keyboard shortcuts to switch tabs, and much more. View the release notes: github.com/sparrowwallet/…
This is bug fix release which ensures the order of cell selection is preserved when choosing words from a Border Wallets grid. To recreate Border Wallets seeds created with v1.7.4 using grid selection, select the cells using a left to right, top to bottom approach.
For all Border Wallets seeds created using v1.7.5 onwards, the order of cell selection in the grid is important as it determines the order of the words in your seed.

If Sparrow is having a problem connecting to your node today, it’s probably due an Electrs issue related to same transaction that caused LND to break. Upgrade Electrs to v0.9.9 to fix. Fulcrum and ElectrumX are unaffected.
Anyone had this from @SparrowWallet before? Trying to connect to my node (which is indeed up and running). No dice via tor, but also just using my local network.
Note that importing and exporting for the abandoned Cobo Vault hardware wallet has been deprecated, and will be removed in a future release. You can however still see it by setting showDeprecatedImportExport to true in Sparrow's config file.

This release also adds the ability to broadcast premix transactions from Sparrow Terminal using Mix Selected on the UTXOs dialog, just as in the desktop. You can also show a QR code for an address to make deposits easier.

Similarly, change from Whirlpool premix (tx0) transactions will be labelled in Badbank with a label from the input UTXOs, if one is present. These changes make it easier to avoid accidentally revealing information through linking of UTXOs when spending.
