@macropaperr @PeterGrandich No offense, but we’ve been hearing the same for decades. I’ve learned that the system is infinitely more elastic than I ever thought. I’m beginning to doubt any of us will be alive to witness a real collapse of any developed/advanced economy/ nation.
In the '90s and early 2000s, my cousin lived on St. Marks Place just off Bowery, and when I visited him we would both see teenagers in limos and town cars getting dropped off a the end of the block who then would go to the pizza shop at the corner, pop a squat, and proceed to spend the day begging for change. To them, that was the "hip NYC" thing to do. Today's DSA is exactly that. Bunch of privileged kids of privileged capitalist parents who, out of sheer boredom choose to "be one of the people" as if it is a costume party.

There is finite demand for AI in the practical real world domain. Once AI is expertly deployed and has a period of 5 or so years to optimize and erase inefficiencies, what then? How will it achieve exponential growth once its use case is 98% completed?
