In June, members of our Middle East and Central Asia team joined U. S. Central Command (@CENTCOM), the @GuardMontana, and forces from eight Central and South Asian partner nations in Fort Harrison, Montana, for #RegionalCooperation2026 (RC26), an annual multinational exercise focused on preparing for complex security and humanitarian crises. RC26 creates space to build trust between forces that don’t regularly train together. The month-long exercise helps forces build the relationships and coordination needed to respond effectively during real-world conflicts. Earlier this year, organizers identified a gap in critical medical training equipment, meaning participants would have to simulate, but not actually perform, essential elements of casualty care. That’s when Spirit of America stepped in, delivering $18,000 in locally sourced, American-made supplies and field training equipment, allowing participants to operate in more realistic conditions and build skills that can help save lives in emergencies.

Today, the drone workshop is not just fixing equipment — it's saving lives. Modifications that once took days now take hours. In just one month, over 2,000 drones passed through the Spirit of America-provided workshop for repair, optimization, or upgrade. Ukrainians continue to innovate on the battlefield each day, under unimaginable circumstances. Their sacrifice and leadership in modern warfare will inform and shape the future of U.S. and allied security. Spirit of America is proud to support Ukraine in its fight for freedom.

Along Ukraine’s front lines, the war is increasingly fought, and decided, in the air. That means drone warfare is a constant contest of adaptation. 🕹️🧰 Nearly 80% of Ukrainian drone interceptors require modification to remain effective when combatting Russia’s rapidly growing UAV threat. To meet this need, Spirit of America partnered with the @ab3army to establish a dedicated, fully equipped drone workshop for the Aquila regiment, which is responsible for roughly 125 miles of the frontline in the Kharkiv region. The workshop increases the number of drones available for air defense and enables timely adaptation in an increasingly complex environment.

This past weekend, Americans celebrated 250 years of freedom, democracy, and independence. As families gathered for barbecues, fireworks, and celebrations, Ukrainians suffered through numerous deadly Russian attacks in and around Kyiv, waking to air raid sirens, missile strikes, and devastating loss. Svitlana, who lives in Ukraine's capital, speaks to this contrast — a powerful reminder that the freedoms we often take for granted in the U.S. are still being defended and sacrificed for every day.
