@th4great Yeah one will probably be a post-Super Bowl Sunday when NBC starts scheduling big games. Another option is the afternoon on Super Bowl Sunday. There’s always a big nationally televised game then and the league loves putting us in that spot

I think the fact that we’re hosting Philly in the preseason is screwing with the schedule makers. I think there’s like a 1 percent chance Jaylen actually plays in the preseason game, but in case he does it kills a bit of the luster of Philly’s first regular season game here

@th4great I could also see the night before Thanksgiving. That night has some juice for the NBA and it feels like we always have a decently big game. (Last year we ended Detroit’s long winning streak that night)

@th4great The league clearly views LeBron as a bigger needle mover than Jaylen, and prioritized hyping his return to LA. But also he’ll only play one game there verses Jaylen potentially playing multiple games in Boston so that probably factored into it. January makes sense
