Just to reiterate: Tesla will spend well over $500M expanding our Supercharger network to create thousands of NEW chargers this year. That’s just on new sites and expansions, not counting operations costs, which are much higher.

Why not let developers use ChatGPT during an interview? I ran a poll. 5,000 people answered, and 42% wouldn't let the person use ChatGPT. Most negative replies said they wanted to test the individual, not the model. I thought a bit more about this. Companies hire people to do a job. The better, faster, and cheaper they do it, the more value they provide to the company. I've been using ChatGPT and Copilot for quite a while now, and they make me faster and help me deliver better work. If you want my better version, AI comes included. And I'm not the only one. The attached figure shows the results of an experiment where people using GPT-4 finished more tasks faster and with higher quality than those without GPT-4. I'm not hiring, but if I were, I'd ask candidates to show me their best version. I want to see how far they can go, not how they fight with an arm tied to their backs. It's hard to believe there's a developer in the world today who can't improve their work using AI. Corporate America has invested too much money in cookie-cutter interview processes. Letting people use AI makes 80% of that irrelevant. I get that. But the solution is not prohibiting. If an unskill person can pass your interview using ChatGPT, your process sucks. This is our 2000's "Should we let them use Google?" battle. In the end, the market will put everyone in their place. The best developers will learn to use any tools that make them better. The best companies will continue hiring those who deliver results. The rest will fall in line or die. Privacy concerns aside, what is a good argument against using AI to complete a job? And what's a good argument about not letting people use it during interviews?

They are frozen, likely flash-frozen the way vegetables are to retain nutritional value, keeping ice crystals small so it doesn't get mushy/watery upon thawing. Process and portions were engineered to thaw to an edible state in about 30 minutes on the counter or 2 hours in a lunch bag.
