There's a reason why movies on the Hollywood standard takes years to make. The producers in the west who have access to more powerful AI tools/models still rely on traditional VFX, doesn't that tell you something? Why did brand new day or Odyssey not use AI? Why did they use CGI
It’s not like everyone criticizing Colours of Fire can do any better themselves. They used AI, so what? AI is a tool. VFX wasn’t perfect when it started either. You can criticize the execution without discouraging experimentation. AI isn’t going anywhere.
