Today attended a training on the EU AI Act. We must have similar parallels. If anyone has contact with lawmakers, please pass this on to them. India with a 1.4B population, is always a big market, and corporates should NOT exploit our people due to a lack of such a law. A few learnings: - Why? To protect fundamental rights, ensure safety and avoid misuse. - Risk levels: (1) Unacceptable (outright banned i.e. Social scoring, real time biometric surveillance by AI), (2) High Risk, (3) Limited Risk and (4) Minimal Risk - AI Toys and Games should not influence/manipulate children - People must know with whom they are interacting over chat or call, if a AI agent or human

Sir, also earlier in Tamil, the state was addressed as "Tamilagam". In Sun News, they used to address CM as "Tamilaga Mudhal ammaichar.." Some controversy erupted, and even in Tamil, the state was referred to as "Tamil Nadu" and the CM was referred to in the news as "Tamil Nadu Mudhal Ammaichar". Is my memory of this incident correct? I am unable to recall the exact context or the incident.

Why not recommend stocks to others? - My own experience. Back in December, my friend asked my opinion on whether he should invest in an overseas IT giant. I told him that it is difficult to predict how IT could move in future. I told the dilemma of: - Say NO, but the stock goes up - Say YES, but the stock goes down So I suggested him to decide based on his risk profile. I gave a bit of a depth explanation of both possibilities. The stock price at that time appeared to be low and would not fall further. He was annoyed for not being given a pointed decision. He angrily said, "What use is your expertise, if you cannot help me to decide? Don't call yourself an expert in stock markets". I told him not to invest. It did not factor in the AI disruption that markets have seen over the last few months. My view was more on risk avoidance and the loss my friend could face. Today, seeing the stock price, I was happy for having said NO to buy that stock. But the interesting part is, in these 6 months, not once he thanked me for the decision, NOR atleast felt happy for being saved! However, have I said YES, and the stock went down... He would have grumbled daily about my decision, asking when the price would go up again, and would also have made me feel guilty. This is how the world is.

Dear Vitaliy, My response could be a bit long. But thought must put it. I have been following you (I recall your visit to India a few years back), Guy and William Green for the last few years. I had been exchanging messages with Guy for the last 7-8 years. I did hear about changes in his life from his recent investor's letter. So I read your article fully, not once but twice. I had planned to go to Switzerland (From Netherlands, where I would be on a business trip) to meet Guy. But fate had a different plan. The 2020 Pandemic led to lockdowns, and my travel was cancelled. In my life, he had a very big impact. It all started when I watched his "Google Talks" for the first time in 2016 or 2017. I wish that a miracle would happen in his life and pray for the mental and physical strength he needs. I had written my prayers and wishes to him over X-Chat as well as his Email. Thanks for putting this article.

@dmuthuk Nothing wrong as long as money is earned honestly and by hard/smart work. I discuss with others about money with intend to guide them. But people comment me as money minded. But many I have seen just want to con others for money. This is wrong.

Very productive use case of AI in Investment learning. Earlier, when listening to lectures or interviews, would take notes by pausing the video or sometimes scrolling back. Now notes are generated using NotebookLM, while I listen to lectures without interruption. Thus, I listen to these when travelling. An image of the NotebookLM screen and prompt is provided below.
