@ConceptualJames @LoganLancing If we teach teach critical thinking, which we do, then critical race theory isn't needed. After all, if you can counter your own bias, then they should have minimal effect on your decisions.

@EducationNext For example. In our curriculum, students learn negotiation, emotional management, debate, presentation, empathy, management and teamwork, psychology, and more. This helps them live well in a world of other people.

@EducationNext There is a good point here. It's easier to translate one concept into a system rather than many, so grouping gives it more chances for success. Still, the concept should be much deeper than just respect and responsibility.

@damgamham @mixedlinguist Sadly there is a large delay in general, when it comes to knowledge bases, and this is partly do to law. If innovation takes years to get approved and launched, then people won't be using and talking about it for years. This is especially true for education and science.

@todd_thacker @irrationalhenry Indeed. It's a clear plug for his own ideology, stated as "human nature." If that were the case, most of history would have been socialism, with only outliers. If anything, humans naturally create hierarchies.

@irrationalhenry How ironic. It denies a group it's purpose to generalize it to all people. If everyone fits in a category, then no distinction or special treatment is needed.
