@gg_rora Ouch! Plan something fun while you take time to heal!

@itsliliavtuber I’m sorry you’re having such a tough time, Lilia. Please take care of yourself, and remember that you deserve the same kindness and support that you give to your community. You matter just as much when you’re not creating content.

@gg_rora Stay safe during the storm! Im going to be flying behind this one on a trip to Virginia this weekend.

@GlitchiVT It happens a lot unfortunately…. Also hello!

I don’t know how many people are actually going to see this, but I wanted to put it out there anyway. I think I’m going to step away from streaming for a while. And by “a while” I mean… I honestly don’t know. Indefinite hiatus, I guess. I’ve been going back and forth on this a lot lately. I even pretty much decided I was done a couple weeks ago, then changed my mind, then tried to figure out what exactly I was even trying to hold onto. And I think the answer is that I still really like creating things. I just don’t think streaming is doing much for me anymore. Somewhere along the way it turned into trying to catch up on games, finding enough time to stream, staying up way later than I should, worrying about whether I’m entertaining enough, thinking about VODs, uploads, clips, posts… and just constantly feeling behind on something that was supposed to be fun. So for now, I think I need to stop. I want to put more of my time and energy into voice acting and actually give myself room to pursue that properly instead of constantly dividing my attention between a bunch of different things. I do still want to make content eventually. I’ve had some ideas lately that I’m genuinely excited about, especially videos around space/science and just weird or interesting things I get curious about. But that’s future stuff. Right now I’m not starting a new channel, promising a schedule, or immediately pivoting into something else. I think I just need to take the pressure off for a bit and figure out what I actually want to do next. So yeah. Indefinite hiatus for now. Not necessarily goodbye/graduation. Just… I’ll see where I end up. :)

@NekuuNya Happy Birthday!!!!

@Dejavudea Only if you really want to. But that’s crazy!

@itsliliavtuber Friends! Woo! 😂

@ArtemisMagi Uhhh… I only have Coke

@gg_rora Definitely concerning. Take care of yourself!!

A reason to dive into the thoughts that keep me up at night! It’s so crazy to me to think that every time we look up into the night sky, we are looking into the past because the light traveling through space takes time to reach us. So, when we see something happening in space, we’re seeing it as it was in the past. Sunlight takes about 8 minutes to reach us, from Neptune it’s about 4 hours. Andromeda? About 2.5 million years. The oldest light we can see? Nearly 13.8 billion years. So the deeper into space we look, the further back in time we see. ✨

Wait wait wait?! Playable?! 🤩

@acitrusfruitt IMO it doesn’t matter. The vtubers comfort and happiness > everyone’s opinion. If they are not happy, why even do it?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe the AI use was just in the in game ads and had been planned to be removed (I believe it’s been replaced already?) so… I’d argue against it being AI slop. People just hold a grudge for it having AI generated art in it initially. I haven’t seen or heard of any evidence of its use in the world beyond that.

@gg_rora Very exciting! 😊

Quick vent/Yap session, because I've had this sitting in my head for a while. I've actually avoided posting something like this because I don't really like putting this kind of stuff out there, but it's been a thorn in my side for long enough that I kind of just want to say it. I've been thinking a lot about being a VTuber lately, and I don't really think I have a clean conclusion to any of it. I like streaming. I like making videos. I like having this character and this little space online that I've been trying to build. But I also keep wondering if I'm actually interesting enough to do this. I see other VTubers making clips, posting all the time, collabing, growing really fast, building these really active communities, and then I look back at what I'm doing and wonder... what am I actually bringing to this? A lot of my streams really are just me playing a game I like and talking about it. Sometimes somebody comes in and we end up having a conversation, most times nobody does. Sometimes I'm talking a ton, and sometimes I realize I've been sitting there quietly watching a story play out because I'm just... absorbing it. Lately I've been catching myself treating that as the evidence I need to convince myself, that I am really bad at this. I'll look at the fact that I've barely made clips, I don't make separate videos that often, I don't collab, and I don't post every day, and I start thinking that I'm just not doing enough. Which I already know I'm not, and that's a part of my issue... but also probably a separate conversation. At the same time, I'm trying to squeeze all of this into an already tight schedule while also wearing a bunch of other hats that matter to me. And that's where this question comes in... If I'm already giving this what I feel I can, and I still feel like I'm not doing enough, is continuing the right move? Not because I don't want to do it, I really do. I guess part of me still thinks maybe I can just keep doing this how I can. I will keep getting better and things will change. I'll stream when I have time, make content when I have time, slowly build something over time and it'll be enough. Though maybe that's me being naive. But I think that's the idea I keep coming back to.

@gg_rora @vtubermale When we bought the couch for our new house a few years ago, it came with a giant bean bag chair and easily became a living room bed for me. 😂 Especially while we were still getting furniture. It was so nice!

@Saphia Glad you made it back safe! Get some rest.

I understand that the Vtuber markets are female focused, but its so hard to find a male pre-made customizable model that I really like. There are very few nice ones, and its rare to find one that match you within those.
