Today, we recognize Juneteenth—a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and the freedom, resilience, and courage of those who fought for justice. At Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare, we recognize that healing and well-being are deeply connected to our experiences, history, and communities. This Juneteenth, we're honored to share an article written by our Rural Clinic Coordinator, Tiffany Jackson, exploring the connection between Juneteenth and mental health. Her article reflects on how recovery from trauma and mental health challenges can empower individuals to move toward healing, hope, and greater emotional freedom. This month’s Employee Highlight is Crystal! As Lead Support Staff Assistant, Crystal plays an essential role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while supporting staff across multiple departments. Her leadership, reliability, and willingness to step in wherever needed makes her a standout member of our team. Known for her positive attitude, initiative, and strong work ethic, Crystal consistently goes above and beyond her responsibilities to ensure things get done. Whether she's leading the Reception team, providing support during busy times, or helping solve unexpected challenges, she approaches every task with professionalism and dedication. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re proud to recognize our Mental Health First Aid Coordinator for helping promote awareness, education, and support within our community.
