Is a life worth $11,000? I think it's priceless. An innocent man, an innocent woman, an innocent child losing their life is not right.' 'I don't think everybody knows what it's about. I think that was the point because before that, probably most of you guys might not even know who she was. That's kind of the point. There's a lot that goes on in the world, not just overseas, right here in our own country. Even I did an event two Tuesdays ago for families that were affected by ICE that were either detained or their family members were detained. At that time, I never knew anybody personally who has been detained or anything like that. And then literally this past Tuesday, a friend of mine, literally just sitting there crying in front of me on the phone, come to find out her cousin, who's been there since he was five years old, got detained on the way to a concert and is being deported. Mind you, he has no family, no nothing over there. And that was my first interaction, my first experience with somebody that I personally know. So it's sad to say there's a lot of issues that I speak on that really are just a shed of light because a lot of people don't care nothing about it. We're in our own little matrix. We're blessed to be able to have the comforts of living in the United States and not having to worry about certain things. But there's issues here and all over the world that, you know, we talk about even what happened with him with his job and his family. Those are taxpayer dollars that we're, as Americans, are paying that are being used to bomb innocent men, women, and children. So that's really what that was about. I think it's important for everybody to do that. Not everybody does it, though. Yeah, by me, everybody. I mean you guys just as much as me. Everybody has a platform. Some bigger than others. But I think especially for myself, understanding the platform that I have and also understanding how I got that platform. I got that platform because of what I do on the field. So I always use that as motivation to be better on the field because the only reason why y'all care to talk to me and not whoever else is because of the way I play the game. So I understand that me playing extremely well gives me a bigger platform. With that platform, I'll be questioning, like I told you guys before, on what I did with it. When I got it, that's the stuff I have to ask you to, to God. So for me, To sit there and say that, oh man, the money, whatever, that wasn't relevant to me. I think it's just important to do that as human beings because we all have our own issues and things that we're going through, which can get so lost in your own problems that you can't have compassion for other people in the world.,' You and Kyrie are fighting for the same cause. Do y'all have a relationship? 'Yeah, we've talked multiple times, especially in the last week. A lot of that stuff is just him supporting me and me supporting him and having to turn his back. I think the biggest thing is me and him align on the cause, which is humanity. We both care about humanity, regardless of skin color, race, anything like that. That's what I think, more than anything, when it comes to me and him, that we align on, just not being afraid to do that. I think some people are like, well, it's pretty black and white. We don't have to have all the answers to everything to know that. An innocent man, an innocent woman, an innocent child losing their life is not right. I don't need anybody to gaslight me into saying that. Well, you've got to ask. I just know that's not right, whether they're here in America or somewhere halfway across the world'
