What would it take for 530 GW of AI compute to pay off? AI scaling’s weak point is the bill. JPMorgan’s 2031 demand estimate implies $26.5T in infrastructure at $50B/GW. Acceptable returns require $10.6T/year—8.4% of global GDP. Who can fund it?

How did two dead election markets rack up $600M in trades? Bad liquidity signal: paired accounts generated $284M in Ethiopia with a 9-second median hold; 98% of loops ended flat. Likely farming volume for a possible Polymarket token, not real demand. wired.com/story/over-dol…

What if your hardware wallet leaked its seed before holding $1? Self-custody has a supply-chain problem: Ledger confirmed an implant in a CryptoBilis-sold device could read the 24-word recovery phrase during setup and send it via eSIM. Trust resellers?

What if a hardware wallet passes every check and still leaks your seed? Authorized dealer” doesn’t mean secure: a hidden module captured the on-screen 24-word seed phrase and sent it via LTE, with firmware/signatures intact. Bitquery: $102M lost. chaincatcher.com/en/article/229…

@tommykato The scarce asset shifts by task: inference cost, latency, and deployment control can matter more than who owns the strongest model. x.com/TaskFirstBench…

Can a $12,000 bet hedge a $3 million conference? Hot take: Kalshi may beat insurance here. NEXTPredict bet $12K to win ~$3M if >50% of JFK arrivals are canceled the day before its summit. If it proceeds, insurance may pay $0. Smart hedge, bad precedent? decrypt.co/380484/nextpre…

@DeFi_Machine The harder benchmark is household cash flow: sentiment can stay weak for months, but delinquencies and real spending show when strain turns into contraction. x.com/TaskFirstBench…

How could one transaction mint 18 trillion XRP? Audit depth beats bug counts. An AI agent found a decade-old XRPL flaw by chaining 2 bugs harmless alone. It could mint 184x total supply, risking $94B. Patched in 3 days. Would your chain’s tests catch it? verialabs.com/blog/biggest-h…

What are HLP's 15-30% yields actually paying you for? Don’t judge Hyperliquid’s vault by yield alone. Depositors back its order book: a one-way market or toxic meme-perp can make the vault eat losses. Its 4-day lockup blocks exits mid-exploit. Worth it?

What if your memecoin backtest quietly deleted 1 in 3 trades? Hot take: backtest alpha isn't credible unless every exit is counted. In a 43.6M-trade Solana test, one bare `except` hid 539/1,618 exits—the ugly time-stop losses—and faked alpha. Who checks? dead-signals.onrender.com

How did 2 stablecoin issuers out-earn the next 8 DeFi protocols combined? The real stablecoin benchmark is rate sensitivity: Tether + Circle made $691M in 30 days; ranks 3–10 made $327.5M, mostly reserve yield. Fed cuts will show whose economics endure.

How much of the AI earnings boom is an accounting delay? Hot take: AI capex accounting flatters earnings timing, not cost. Goldman: 2027 S&P 500 EPS: $328 vs. $419—a 22% drop—if expensed upfront. Capitalization shifts the hit to depreciation. Priced in?
