Forgot to do it before travelling? SARS says travellers will not be refused entry into or departure from South Africa simply because they did not complete the declaration beforehand. But doing it before you travel should help save time at customs.

Your IRP5 is usually the main one if you are employed. It shows your income, deductions and PAYE paid to SARS for the 2026 tax year, from 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026. If you have not received it yet, follow up with HR or payroll.
