Every time a game is shut down before it has time to find its footing, gamers in general become more hesitant to adopt new games. It’s a terrible feedback loop.

@PabloMakes I was very underwelmed by Ember's kit when I first tried her. I think she's victim to power creep; other frames are much stronger and easier to use. It wasn't until I slapped on Jade Stars that her kit felt effective and I started to enjoy playing as her.

If we as a society are going to allow gambling (we shouldn't) then we need to require absolutely all wins to be payed out. You shouldn't get to exploit vulnerable people and then randomly go "nuh uh" if someone actually wins big.

@GillianFoxglove The famous one the biggest streamers use is like $30k, and requires subscriptions for all the carriers (verison, starlink, etc) to do automatic network switching (that's how they maintain a stable connection anywhere). So the secret is just a silly amount of money.

@GillianFoxglove There's a few companies that make IRL backpacks, which are just specifically curated bundle of hardware for streaming: mobile encoding server, a bunch of antennae for different networks, and some big-ass batteries to power it all.
