It’s Sunday, June 28th. I’m headed to Trenton right now to attend the Senate Budget & Appropriations committee for a state budget that no one has seen. We were promised transparency & a finished budget by June 15th. Instead, Trenton Democrats are jamming through a backroom deal at the last minute... same broken playbook, same lack of transparency. Proud to share that S-4289 passed the Senate Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee yesterday! This bill would raise the veterans’ gross income tax deduction from $6,000 to $9,000 for tax year 2027, then index it to inflation every year after. Our veterans deserve this bill’s full passage and to be signed into law. I’ll never stop fighting for our heroes and protecting their purchasing power, especially for seniors living on fixed incomes. 🇺🇸
