This Father's Day weekend, something truly incredible happened. Because so many of you donated, shared, encouraged others, and refused to let John O'Keefe be forgotten on such an important day, TESTIFY surpassed $250,000 in donations on our GiveSendGo. We are beyond grateful for every single contribution, whether it was $5, $50, $500, or simply sharing our mission with others. Every donation represents someone who believes that the truth matters, that witnesses deserve support, and that John O'Keefe deserves justice. We also witnessed that incredible support in person at a fundraiser held on our behalf, where so many people gathered to celebrate the community that has formed around our cause. The energy in the room was powertul. People who had never met before became friends. Stories were shared, memories were honored, and tor a few hours we were reminded that even in the midst of difficult circumstances, there is still hope, kindness, and tremendous strength in coming together. To every donor, every attendee, every volunteer, and every person who has supported TESTIFY along the way: thank you. We are humbled by your generosity, inspired by your dedication, and grateful beyond words for the role each of you has played in helping us reach this milestone.

It was heartbreaking on every level to endure not only the defamation and harassment directed at us by people in our own community, but also to stand by and watch the O’Keefes, and so many others who loved John, be forced to walk through the absolute circus that people turned his murder trial into. What should have been a solemn pursuit of justice became a spectacle. A family grieving an unimaginable loss was made to endure public cruelty, harassment, conspiracy theories, and constant disrespect while simply trying to seek accountability for the man they loved. No one should ever have to experience that. No witnesses should ever have to endure what many of us have endured for simply telling the truth.
