On Tuesday, June 23rd, IACP President David Rausch delivered opening remarks at the 2026 International Forum on Police Cooperation (IFPC) in Taipei, Taiwan hosted by the Taiwan National Police Agency. This year's forum theme was "Combatting Transnational Crime" and key discussion topics included telecom fraud and human trafficking, illicit financial flow and money laundering, drug crimes, and gang and organized crime.

The IACP delegation, led by President David Rausch, was in Lyon, France, this week meeting with @INTERPOL_HQ Secretary General Valdecy Urquiza and his executive team. Director Rausch was supported by IACP Executive Director Vincent Talucci, 2nd Vice President Colonel Matt Packard, International Vice President Vincent Vleesenbeek, and Global Director Vince Hawkes. The discussions ranged from artificial intelligence and drone technology to cyber operations and transnational organized crime trends. Throughout the day, the program highlighted the alignment of both agencies’ strategic frameworks, further supporting capacity building and strengthening the partnership. A special note of appreciation goes out to Mr. Ali Rached and Ms. Amanda Chouteau-Rouse for their efforts in coordinating this meeting, as well as to all the specialists who shared their expertise with the delegation.
