نسبة التضخم في أسعار الأغذية والمشروبات في الكويت بلغت ٤٠٪ خلال الخمس سنوات الأخيرة (من ٢٠٢٠ إلى ٢٠٢٥). يعني اللي كنت تشتريه بـ٥ دنانير صار بـ٧ دنانير. فإذا مطعم رفع أسعاره أكثر من هذه النسبة خلال هذه الفترة، تقدر تشك فيهم، وإلا فهو متوافق مع تضخم أسعار القطاع وليس جشعاً من التاجر. هذا وضع الدول المستوردة للخدمات والمنتجات.
