@R34lLoganRiley@HaniKansu@ArthurMacwaters@BehizyTweets You can say it thousand of times, but none of it matters anymore. The popular vote, or whoever wins doesn’t determine who is best for the country, just who sold their lies best. Republicans have been better at selling their lies for a few years now.
@SimoAhava@braiscv And here I was already using the term “key events” for significant events on the user journey that are not conversions … ah well, we’ll figure it out.
Scheduled emails are now available in #GA4 property. You can schedule up to 50 standard reports to be delivered via email.
Here is how you can schedule a report:
1) Navigate to a standard report in your GA4 property.
2) Click on the 'Share this report' button at the top right-hand side of your screen.
3) Click on 'Schedule Email' from the drop-down menu.
4) Follow the on-screen instructions.
Use my simple 6-step process to implement any type of #GA4 tracking (event tracking, ecommerce tracking, scroll tracking etc.)
**Step-1: Planning**
At this stage, you sit down with your client/boss/stakeholders/IT team and plan out exactly:
>> What data will you collect (tracking requirements)?
You need to develop a great understanding of the customers' purchase journey and map out the entire conversions/sales process, from lead generation ads to post-sales follow-up.
>> What is required to get the desired data (implementation setup requirements/resources), and whether getting the desired data is technically feasible (technical feasibility study).
.
.
>> How you will collect the data (functional and technical designs).
>> How the tags would be deployed (tag deployment planning).
>> How the data should be processed.
>> How the data should be reported.
>> Risk assessments – risk associated with tag deployment and the project in general (including tag auditing, and GDPR compliance).
I suggest creating a project scope document at this stage, which clearly outlines the project Plan, Project deliverables, Exclusions, milestones, Requirements, Assumptions and Project cost and terms of work.
.
.
**Step-2: Configuration**
Configure your GA4 Property settings and GTM container tags' settings at this stage.
You may also need to configure your: CMS, shopping cart, staging website, CRM, call tracking software or any other tool(s) if they are also a part of the implementation setup.
.
.
**Step-3: Collection**
At this stage, you create the functionality (based on your technical and functional design) to collect the required data and then send the collected data to the Google Analytics server for processing.
.
.
**Step-4: Processing**
At this stage, Google Analytics processes the collected data according to your configuration settings (like 'dimension scope' and tag rule) and designed functionality.
If you are unsatisfied with how the data is being processed, you need to go back to the previous step(s).
------------------------------------------
.
.
**Step-5: Reporting**
At this stage, the processed data is available in Google Analytics reports or your custom app.
If you are unsatisfied with how the data is being reported, you need to go back to the previous step(s).
.
.
**Step-6: Querying**
At this stage, you, or the end-user, query the data via the reporting interface or API.
You query the data to test your implementation setup.
An end-user may query the data to get the desired report.
.
.
If you are wondering why these six steps, I created these steps based on the Google Analytics developers' documentation.
That's how Google expects developers to implement a GA4/GTM setup.
With so many agencies and a largely unregulated industry, statistically, the chances that you encounter an agency that “makes promises they can’t deliver on” is growing. We help you keep them honest.

A shocking statistic from IBISWorld showed that the USA has over 88K advertising agencies. To put that in perspective, that is more than the combined number of U.S. units of below 9 fast food chains.
👀 How many times do you see one of these stores on your way to work ?
@analyticsnerd I agree with you @analyticsnerd - history is not a good indicator for the trajectory of AI moving forward. We’re in the middle of the AI revolution which will go faster than some of us want.
Here is what a near ideal channel distribution looks like in #GA4 reports for the most million-dollar businesses that run on autopilot.
They all have paid traffic channels as the top traffic and revenue sources.
Most traffic and sales DO NOT come from organic marketing but from paid marketing.
.
.
And this is actually a sign of healthy business and marketing because:
a) Your business is not at the mercy of algorithm changes or your daily physical presence (for doing daily podcasts, Facebook Lives, YouTube, etc.).
b) You have full control over your traffic and sales.
c) You have battle-tested funnels.
d) You get time freedom.
.
.
You can scale a process/funnel/system only if you are confident it works 8 out of 10 times.
If you lack such confidence, you will struggle with paid advertising and remain stuck with organic methods (which are great for reducing CPA over time but not something that should be your primary weapon).
Now, when I see a business that is not spending money on ads, my default conclusion (unless proved wrong) is that they do not have solid 'proof of concept', battle-tested funnel, and/or a great understanding of their target audience.
.
.
You can scale a business only to an extent with organic methods in most businesses and in many industries.
There is almost always a glass ceiling, and you can not break it.
If you want the sky to be your limit, then you have to switch to paid advertising. There is no other alternative.
Unless you are a web analyst/agency, you are unlikely to know about the businesses in various industries that are killing it with paid advertising.
.
.
Often, the businesses you hear about the most on social media are those who are killing it with organic search and organic social. That's why they are visible to you in the first place.
However, these businesses do not represent the 99% of online businesses out there. They are unicorns.
And when people hear the success stories of these unicorns, they conclude that paid ads are dead; organic social is the future.
.
.
The reality is that most entrepreneurs do not have the time or capacity to do podcasts each day or publish social media posts or blog posts each day.
They want to run their business & scale marketing in a way that does not always require their constant manual input or physical presence.
Look around how many of your own clients are doing daily podcasts, Facebook lives, YouTube or publishing blog posts.
.
.
Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Nike ..... all do paid advertising.
I often hear this objection that rising advertising cost is making paid marketing unprofitable.
Wait till you hear about the cost of organic marketing.
Most people think organic means free.
Until the reality hits them, and they realize that the amount of money required on content development & marketing just to create a dent in the marketplace can easily dwarf their puny daily ad spend on ads.
