@NCDawgsfan @DublinAirport Why would you think it’s better? It comes from a colonial caricature used to demean Irish people. So many “Irishisms” in the US come from old British propaganda from a time when the Irish were ostracized. That propaganda was used to prevent people from taking the Irish seriously.

The @DublinAirport website also says their own lanyard is only for people with confirmed autism, so what about other #disabilities? Very confusing info, none of it helpful.

Shocked at @DublinAirport to be told this morning my #sunflowerlanyard is no longer accepted and I should get one from DAA. I’ve been to 8 airports so far this year, should I get one from each? The sunflower is meant to be the international standard. @SunflwrIreland #disability

@wizzair Awful experience flying out of OTP this evening. Flight delayed until morning. According to your site hotel should be provided, wasn’t. No employees available anywhere, contact part of site down, no meal vouchers as promised, came back to airport early and delayed again.

@JackMcA_1888 @Gordo9020 @searedsha No, it’s not. But having lived in the US and Canada, I did find that the larger enclaves of Irish diaspora tended to be a bit insular and to lean more conservative. That’s not saying everyone obviously, but certain groups had no concept of Irish progress.

I really enjoyed this ad. Although I don’t live in Dublin anymore, the video is clear and concise on policy, doesn’t focus on hate, and gives background on why we are where we are.

@sunfl0werv0l369 I moved to the US from Europe as a young adult. I spent some really formative years in California and it was a great life experience. In my 30s I’m so glad to live in Europe again. It was really hard to leave, but it’s so difficult to live there. I couldn’t live that stress again

@Ryanair I have been sitting in Bergamo airport for almost 4 hours watching delay after delay on the flight to Cork. It has just been updated to say cancelled. Not a single Ryanair or airport employee has been seen in hours. No information on how to get our bags or where to go.

@KellyStott248 @kristy_joy So the young boy living in poverty with a sister at home can take a couple home for her. It’s not “woke” ideaology, it’s ensuring access for anyone struggling. It’s looking after families, since that’s what republicans claim is most important. Period poverty affects families.

She had a high testosterone count during routine screening. A Russian federation disqualified her and another athlete but she has met IOC standards.
