Good Morning! Today is the final day of Group Stage matches in the World Cup. Today is tough as some teams DO NOT want to win today! Before you place any bets, I broke down what all 12 countries are playing for, so you know what is at stake for each! Please share if this helps you! Panama🇵🇦 - Panama is OUT of the World Cup already. This match doesn't matter for anything besides national pride. They could win this match 40-0 against England and they'd still be going home due to the new head-to-head rule and having already lost to Croatia and Ghana. They are however the only team in the World Cup that hasn't scored a goal, so maybe we see them try to sneak one back just for the sake of not being known as that team. England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - England played last match to a 0-0 draw to Ghana which means that they now need a win to guarantee they win they top the group (Which they want to do). They are the biggest favorites of the day and rightfully so. They might use this match as a chance to run up the score and get some confidence back under their attackers before the R32 match. Technically they could still finish second in the group even if they win, if Ghana beat Croatia by more goals than they beat Panama by and catch up on differential, but that's super unlikely. Croatia🇭🇷 - Croatia are one of those super frustrating bubble third place teams. They play Ghana today and are favored even though they're lower on the standings. A draw is all they need to qualify from a third place position HOWEVER, a win would most likely move them to second and give them an easier draw next round, so expect them to play like they need a win even though they technically don't. This team blows very hot or cold but they should be good enough to at least get the draw. Ghana🇬🇭 - Ghana are already through but could technically win the group if they smash Croatia. I don't see this happening especially with how they play. I don't expect goals here. Ghana just held England to a 0-0 draw and beat Panama 1-0. They'll play for another low scoring draw and try to hold onto second place. If this ended 0-0 again they'd be stoked. A win or draw keeps second, a loss and they fall to third but still qualify. Colombia🇨🇴 - I love love love LOVE this team. They are top of their group playing Portugal. Colombia just need a draw to finish first in their group. Win or draw, they're first. If they lose, they finish second because they're playing Portugal. This is an extremely physical side with great attackers and a struggling defense. I expect their game against Portugal to have goals. Take BTTS in this game now. Portugal🇵🇹 - Portugal were favorites to win this group coming into the World Cup and they still could win, but they need a victory over Colombia. This won't be easy but we saw against Uzbekistan when this team clicks they're terrifying. Expect them to press for 90 minutes and make things hell for Colombia in what is my favorite match of the day. DR Congo🇨🇩 - DR Congo need to beat Uzbekistan to finish third in a qualifying spot. A win and in, a draw or a loss and you're going home. This is a tricky team to beat on and even though they only have 1 point they looked extremely competitive in both their matches. Expect them to go all out against Uzbekistan today. Uzbekistan🇺🇿 - Uzbekistan are gone. Doesn't matter what happens to them this game they're going home. They are playing literally just to spoil things for DR Congo at this point. They can't advance, but they can take DR Congo down with them if they get a draw or win. I don't expect them too, but that's their only motivation. Algeria🇩🇿 - One of the two teams playing in the "Conspiracy" match. Algeria is third in group J and a part of them won't want to win. Whoever finishes second in group J will have to play Spain, while whoever finishes third, will get an easier opponent. The BEST CASE scenario for Algeria is a 1-1 draw here, keeping them in third and away from Spain. They legitimately might not want to win this game. They don't want to lose - but a draw would be perfect for them. Be careful on this game Austria🇦🇹 - Team two in the "Conspiracy match". Austria can't win the group and are currently in second place. If they win, they stay second, if they lose they drop to third BUT could also fall out of the competition all together so they can't afford to lose on purpose. I agree with everyone else online this is going to be a draw with neither team wanting to make it obvious what they're trying to do. Jordan🇯🇴 - Jordan are already out. Doesn't matter what happens today the only real goal is to try to lose by as little as possible against Argentina for pride. Argentina🇦🇷 - Argentina have already won the group and their manager has already said Messi will NOT start today. Don't fall for any boosts or traps around him today, he's going to rest. Argentina doesn't need anything from this game. They could play all backups and still win comfortably. I expect this one to be a snoozer.
