I have been coding with AI for a while with little or no issues. A few things I've realized: > working with an existing codebase is better than building from scratch. > knowledge of architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, is super helpful in given AI context. Foundational knowledge of architectural basics is important. Algorithmic basics, not so much. > imitation is better than creativity with AI. You want to create a modal? Supply a reference image, etc. > after every debugging pass, create reusable documentation as a .md file using this prompt, "based on all our back and forths create a documentation that led to this working solution in .md." after which, copy and paste to your Obsidian vault or preferred platform location. This is useful for payments and similar integrations. > ensure you have a local build of your solution (especially a local db) so AI can do a build and test locally before committing changes. The above are some lessons so far that will boost your productivity coding with AI.

The only reason you're hesitant to post your knowledge on social media is because you over estimate the knowledge out there. You overestimate the knowledge people have because it comes easy to you. In fact, you see some posts on X and wonder, "that's easy information, people don't know that?" What I've found out is that ASSUMING no one knows what you know gives you the confidence to put yourself out there. You gerrit?
