Ottawa's priorities are backwards. The federal government spent $300,000 of taxpayer money promoting euthanasia through a podcast, even as a Parliamentary committee heard concerns that vulnerable Canadians need stronger safeguards—not expanded access. The committee has now recommended that mentally ill people (without other symptoms) not be offered assisted suicide as a solution to their problems.
