UPDATE (6/17/2025): ALL trails at Turkey Run and Shades State Parks that were closed due to flooding are now OPEN. Trails are extremely slick and muddy, use caution.
ALL TRAILS at Turkey Run State Park are now CLOSED. At Shades State Park, Trail 4, Trail 8 and the trails in Pine Hills Nature Preserve are CLOSED.
IMPORTANT NOTICE (06-15-25): Water is covering most trails at Turkey Run State Park & is still rising. Trail 2 and Trail 11 are open but all other trails are CLOSED. We will update this post as conditions change. Thanks for your patience if you were planning a Father's Day hike.

Highwater marks are evidence of the highest stage of the flood and we only have a little time to identify them. Take photos, measure, and record a GPS location.
