A few years back when I returned, I was shocked to learn about retail jerseys embossed into sports cards. I would’ve never imagined this happening, since UD set an industry standard—especially in high-end products. The reason I stay clear of Panini material cards. @CardPurchaser

The earlier Brian Gray years had better photography and conservative designs. Yet unlicensed or not, they’ll never fill the void of the previous Leaf Limited. Today’s product is littered with cartoonish designs, no-name autos, and manufactured scarcity. @CardPurchaser

@CardPurchaser Not much really. Sometimes I go days without even looking at cards. It’s kind of an in-and-out hobby for me. I’m not really up on the latest as far as upcoming players even. I can comfortably say that it’s not an addiction. Could say just a soft hobby at this point.

@Mojo_Dope_Jeter @SamsMagicTape @CardPurchaser I think it’s more of the added appeal versus the knowing thereof. Topps did well with their unlicensed products. Leaf is a hit-or-miss, with bold bald-caps, and floating nameless (and sometimes unnumbered) jersey cards.

@CardPurchaser This happens quite a bit on Facebook. So many accounts have been hacked because people fail to pause and think. I get requests from friends of whom are already on my list. Scammers will copy photos and create a duplicate account, sometimes fooling the people you know.

@CardPurchaser 🔥🏈🔥 Pack-pulled within the height of my collecting days! This is a gorgeous card, in my opinion. The colors pop and that gold label definitely compliments. Had this graded for $10. Such good hobby days are long behind us.
