@gnoble79 I swore I would never own a Tesla. Bought one two years ago and I’ll never go back. The tech is light years ahead of every ICE vehicle I’ve ever owned. Does Musk overpromise? Sure…but I’ll take shooting for the stars and hitting the moon over the tiny improvements of others…

@SpencerHakimian Kind of ignoring the whole leverage/tax factor. Bought my first home in 2011 with $50k down. I’ve paid $504k in mortgage and $180k in property taxes since then. I have almost $900k of tax-free equity. If I’d put that $50k into the SP500, I’d have $235k after taxes.
