Release notes: https://t.co/UkeJ7iQnTptopictrails.comJoined September 2018
* Splitting panels horizontally and vertically
* A navigation history with back/forward buttons for each panel
* Panel pinning to open links visibly on the side
* A sidebar where highlights and links will be displayed
More soon.
It's been a little quiet here recently... that's because we've been completely redoing the panel UI based on given feedback.
New capabilities will include 👇
@josephiesue@bryanph_ Hey Joseph, importing data from both of these is definitely on the future todo list. @readwise has a pretty advanced API, so a full integration would probably be possible. Not so sure about @zotero, we would have to look further into the possibilities of that.
@CatoMinor3 I am a little ashamed to say that you currently can not other than use the trusty old browser ctrl-f. Will be bumping this on the todo list! Along with other more commonly used PDF viewer features :)
Had a pretty fruitful day, implemented a YouTube embed feature for @TopicTrails 😄
Two ways to embed:
* By pasting and clicking the "embed" button
* Through the "/" command menu
👋I made a lil video to demonstrate the first of the 4 features I mentioned yesterday, the new way in which links are grouped. It also demonstrates how navigating links works in TopicTrails.
Made some pretty big changes to @TopicTrails over the last few months. Will be going into each of these over the next few days.
In short:
1. Links list grouping
2. Type schemas (define how nodes can be linked together)
3. Typed highlights
4. An "all links" page
Another update!
When a workspace is shared with the public, the links in that workspace are now also shared🙂

A new release! This release includes:
- Responsive panel navigation for mobile devices.
- New viewing modes, allowing you to customize how many panels are displayed on the page at the same time.

A lot of improvements have landed in TopicTrails over the last few months, among which the ability to share your documents. Putting this feature to the test, we are now posting release notes for all updates. You can read them here: topictrails.com/app/d/0c798e23…
@poeticStupid Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! I'm currently working on being able to publish notes so that I can start writing some documentation about the tool, using the tool :)
@poeticStupid Hey Brandon, sorry for the late response. Ha I'm glad you like that, it happened to be what I was reading at the time I put it together ;). The editor itself is markdown compatible, so pasting markdown from obsidian should work. No import/export as of yet, working on it though!
