Love that while this would be a great scenario for both streamers and users alike (as streamers don't like having to stop a conversation point/segment due to an upcoming ad break), Twitch will likely see this point as a "yeah but we use the ads to drive the purchase of subs!!"

So if the ad revenue generated from being sub-1000 viewers is seen as wholly inconsequential due to how CPM is calculated, surely us dead weight streamers should be allowed to turn off ads entirely, thus making the experience better for every user who watches those streams, while making negligible difference to the overall profits of Twitch...

Twitch's Former Chief Product Officer says the Discovery and Ads teams were once at war over Feed impressions (solved), and that Twitch streams with fewer than 1000 viewers are dead weight (since entertainment economics runs on ad rates). Very interesting historical insight!
