@DC_Dragodon @ShitpostRock infamous is heavily focused on projectiles and grenades. prototype is a full-on brawler/hack n slash it's also worth noting that prototype was built on the foundation of hulk ultimate destruction and made by the same team, which came out far before infamous was even conceived

@DC_Dragodon @ShitpostRock they're not fair to compare. infamous is basically a third person shooter while prototype is a brawler hack n slash they're only compared because they came out around the same time and people wrongfully assumed prototype knocked it off. i liked prototype way more

@MisterJWolf @ShitpostRock yeah as much as i love edgy shit i'm not gonna lie to myself and act like prototype 1's story is worth a damn. the twist is cool, and i think 2's narrative is vastly superior, but 1 is certainly gameplay-first (not to say that's a bad thing)

@mandalorymory @ShitpostRock narratively it was an upgrade but mechanically and in terms of animation quality it was way stiffer and less satisfying. i vastly preferred 1. 2's also way too damn easy
