Ship 40 loaded up with propellant this afternoon at Massey's and then...did something? We don't know if it was an igniter test or an aborted SF but a couple of flashes seemed to appear at the base of the ship.

There is a chance but I (Darth) don't see it happening
We could be a month away from FLT 13 at this point, and taking B20 for example, was fully stacked on April 30th and didn't head to Massey's until June 5th. Like they could, but they would probably be focusing on preparing B20.
In other news, Booster 21 has 1 section of its methane tank remaining before it can be fully stacked.
Its hot-staging ring was moved into Megabay 1 last night.
🥢 on the move!
What we believe to be the first of SLC-37's chopsticks has just rolled out from SpaceX's Hangar X facility at the Kennedy Space Center.
Tower segments at 37 are still being stacked so it will be awhile before we see this installed, not to mention the additional work needed to prepare it for operations.
Never a dull moment at the space port that never sleeps!

Starbase This Week (2026-06-21) | Written by @KangasSpaceroo
Well, bit of a quiet week this week, Pad 2 continues its post-Flight 12 testing, and stacking of vehicles continues. Let's dive in. Welcome to this week’s Starbase This Week.
Launch Site
Well, action has been quite busy at Pad 2 this week with 11, yes 11 deluge firings in four days. Three of them occurred on the 18th alone. SpaceX could be putting it through its paces due to some of the issues we saw during the Flight 12 launch counts or they could be testing it to see how it handles rapid firings from a rapid launch turnaround. We’re thinking the former due since this is a brand new pad design and it likely has some teething issues to go through. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to figure out the issue.
Over at Pad 1, work continues on the OLM… oh wait, there’s no OLM but SpaceX has started work to remove the SQD arm from the tower. The removal of the arm is necessary as this arm is the original from the early days of the full stack, which has required modifications to suit Ship 24, Ship 25-31, Ship 33-38 and is now also incompatible with the SQD port design on S39 and onwards. Work began to remove it on the 19th but was aborted for an as of now unknown reason.
Not to miss anything at the launch site, two tanks were delivered on the 18th.
Production Site
At the production site, Booster 21 and Ship 42 continue their stacking operations with each receiving a section this week.
Booster 21’s F2:4 section rolled into Megabay 1 on the 19th beginning the stack of the FWD section consisting of the CH4 tank, interstage, and gridfins. The next expected section should be the HS-FX:3 section which should be rolling out in the coming days.
Ship 42 continued its stacking operations inside Starfactory with the nosecone section being stacked onto PL:3 or its payload bay section. Ship 42’s next visible action will be its roll over to Megabay 2 for its stacking with its FX:4 but that isn’t expected for a while. Ship 41 didn’t roll out of Starfactory until April 20th, just over a month after it was stacked on its PL:3.
Massey’s
Lastly, over at Massey’s, a deluge test was performed. Beyond that, nothing else visible happened. Very quiet over here as Massey awaits Ship 40 for its static fire campaign, hopefully sometime soon. It usually takes about a month between the Cryo Proof campaign and the Static Fire campaign for a Ship.
Well, that’s it for this week’s recap. Future flight vehicles are taking shape.
When do you think we’ll see the next fully stacked vehicle?

The trench deluge system at Pad 2 was activated this evening. I believe this is the first time it has been tested since the launch of Starship Flight 12.

Starbase This Week (2026-06-14) | Written by @Space_Mr_Banana
Starship Flight 13 is slowly but surely approaching as the vehicles are progressing through their testing campaigns, the Gigabay is on its last level and a future ship may be close to rolling out to Megabay 2. Welcome to this week’s Starbase This Week.
Masseys
Starting this one right where we left off with the last one…Booster 20.
The booster set to fly on Flight 13 has already made the trip back from Masseys to the production site having completed its standard pressure test and two cryogenic proof tests.
This is two less than Booster 19 conducted in its cryogenic testing campaign, but as we saw with the Block 2 boosters, two cryo tests is typically the maximum.
The next steps for Booster 20 in Megabay 1 involve completing post cryo checkups and installing the grid fins and engines to allow for stacking on the pad and then conducting the static fire respectively. This is likely to be a few weeks' process.
The Ship for Flight 13, Ship 40, may be rolling out for Static fire quite soon.
Having completed its cryo testing back in early May, Ship 40 has spent its time in Megabay 2 doing largely nothing as far as we could tell. Its likely SpaceX was waiting until after flight 12 to get data for any changes that may be necessary on the vehicle.
More recently we saw Ship 40 receiving its three sea level and three vacuum engines. And now a closure has been posted for the rollout of something from the Production Site to Masseys after this SBTW is posted.
It's hard to guarantee that the closure is for Ship 40, but it's likely given that Masseys is now empty of anything that is not a test tank.
Speaking of test tanks, there was some action with those this week as S39.1 completed a cryo test and the Booster Liquid Oygen (LOX) landing tank test article appears to be finished its testing as it was lifted out of the Nosecone jail at the site having only done two tests.
Production Site
Over at the production site we got some sneak peak views of a half stacked Booster 21 as its LOX tank left Megabay 1 possibly to make room for B20s arrival, it was later rolled back in.
Booster 21 is likely to fly on flight 14 alongside Ship 41, while on the topic of future flights though, earlier in the week Ship 42's nosecone was stacked atop the payload bay.
This is usually the final step for a Nosecone before it gets rolled out to Megabay 2 for stacking so its not long now until Ship 42 makes its journey out of the Starfactory.
Vehicle production is important, but what's important for vehicle production?
Gigabay!
The Gigabay at starbase has finally begun the construction of the last level, while still not close to complete or even not close to being as far ahead as Florida's Gigabay, this is a huge step towards mass production of Ships and Boosters.
Unfortunately even though the last level has started, Gigabay likely won't be ready for production until some point next year, as even once the whole structure is complete, there is still so much work required on the inside to make it suitable for vehicles.
Launch Site
Not a lot to say about the launch site but earlier in the week a closure was posted for Port of Brownsville to the pad. During the closure two tanks made their way to the launch site for integration into the tank farm.
With that we close out this week and this Starbase This Week.
When do you think Flight 13 will fly?
And when will Gigabay finally be ready to support vehicle production?
