After a rough back nine, Thor misses the cut at the Canadian Open. In a slump currently 😔

After a rough start at the Canadian Open, Thor is bouncing back well today. -3 on the round to get to -2 on the tournament! Rough putting set him back yesterday and he has missed a couple makeable ones today, but a nice day going. 7 holes left, cut is likely going to be -2.

Great example of WDs and why it’s totally ok for them to WD. This Thorb Olesen withdrawing on 14 in Canada, he was +3. Leader is -5 already. He is playing Canadian Open and needs a good week. His choice is to grind thru the rest of the day or got get ready for RBC.

🚨 After a +3 thru 14 start, Thorbjørn has withdrawn from his US Open Qualifier. Opting to prepare for the RBC Heritage early. Rough day today.

Thor falls to +2 thru 13, bogeying one of the easier holes on the course and parring the par-5. Things are getting late early.

Thor is a quarter ways through the day and is +1. Par-5 coming up. Has to start finding some momentum as the course seems very scoreable early on.

They’re playing the course as a par-70, so no back to back par-5s. Thor goes birdie-bogey and remains at +1. Needs to find birdies soon.

+1 thru 5 now as Thor heads to back to back par 5s. Needs to get some birdies here.

It is US Open Qualifying Day! 6 spots available in the Canada qualifier. 36 holes of golf ahead, -6 was the number to make it a year ago. Thor has begun and is E thru a hole. Will be a long day ahead!

Thor finished up his week at the Colonial with a -3, ending up in T-67. Third round killed him. Week off, then US Open Qualifying on Monday in Canada, the same location where he qualified a year ago. Hoping for more good luck there.

An 80 today from Thorbjorn. Yikes. 😬

A made cut today for Thor after a round of -3 to climb up to -4 for the week. A very hot start today, but cooled down after. 4/4 made cuts in Texas this year! Heads to the weekend in T-34, would be great to end the week with a top 20 or better.

Nice birdie at the seventh followed by two pars to close the front nine today, a very hectic one! Easier back nine now, would love to pick up a couple more birdies. -3 currently.

3 putt double bogey at the fifth. The hot start has gone down the drain.

Follows up the opening eagle with birdies at 2 and 3, but a tough 3 putt at the fourth. Still a great start! -4 for the tourney, -3 thru 4 on the day.

🚨 Thor is heading into his second round at -1, needing a -2 round today to make the cut at the Colonial. Off in a little over an hour, he’s due for a low one!

Good playing so far from Thor through his opening 12 holes. -2 and T-14, two shots off of the early lead. Would be great to grab at least one more shot coming in.
