The Dow traded lower to my 30880 buy level with a 30795 low print and I have now exited this long position here at 30975 and I am now flat Earlier the Dollar hit my 89.70 buy level before rallying to my 90.15 T/P level and I am now flat.
Ahead of the weekend I’ll stay flat but there is no doubt the sell-off in precious metals and the reversal in the US Dollar is a warning for S&P bulls going forward.
Hi Everyone, Gold led most Asset Classes lower today with Gold falling over $100 in the past 24 hours.
It took a while but finally my 89.95 T/P level on my latest 89.55 long was hit this morning and I am now flat. Today, I will again be an aggressive buyer of the Dollar from 89.30/89.80 with an 88.85 stop. If I am taken long I will have a T/P level at 90.15.
Often, currency trends will end with a spike and intra-day reversal, which has yet to occur. I will leave my 89.95 T/P level unchanged for now.
Update on the March Dollar Index: I am still long at an average rate of 89.55 with the same 88.75 stop. In my opinion sentiment is still compatible with an impending low in the Dollar.
If I am taken long I will have a T/P level at 3689. If I am taken long a second time I will have a T/P level at 3648.
The S&P has short-term support from 3663/3678 where I will be a small buyer with a 3649 stop. I will continue to be an aggressive buyer from 3615/3630 with a 3598 wider and ‘’Closing Stop’’. If I am taken short I will have a T/P level at 3711.
My S&P plan worked well after a volatile overnight trading session. The S&P traded higher to my 3722 sell level before hitting an overnight low at 3687. As I wanted to be flat ahead of the Georgia Senate results I covered my short position at 3715.50.
We have short-term resistance from 3718/3733 where I will be a small seller with a 3745 tight stop. If I am taken long I will have a T/P level at 3672. If I am taken long a second time I will have a T/P level at 3643. If I am taken short I will have a T/P level at 3709.
The S&P has initial support from 3645/3660 where I will be a small buyer with a 3633 stop. The S&P has strong support from 3610/3625 where I will be an aggressive buyer with a 3598 ‘’Closing Stop’’.
Shortly after I posted yesterday morning the S&P made a new all-time high at 3772 before falling 120 Handles after the U.S Markets opened in what turned out to be a wild first trading session of 2021.
The S&P is on course to leave another ‘’Open Gap’’ and today my sell level will be from 3770/3788 with a 3801 wider and ‘’Closing Stop’’. If I am taken long I will have a T/P level at 3729. If I am taken short I will have a T/P level at 3761.
The S&P has short-term support from 3702/3719 where I will be a small buyer with a 3689 stop. With the S&P trading higher at 3763 as I go to press I will continue to sell the rallies with a tight stop.
Last night the S&P Futures re-opened in my sell range, allowing me to go short at a price of 3752 before the market traded lower to my 3741 T/P level and I’m now flat. Optimism and sentiment levels are at extreme levels and aren’t sustainable without a meaningful correction first
