@Shopify uses its own payment platform so if users want to switch their e-commerce payment gateway to save money (they charge around 2-3%), they would have to change their whole website and build a new one on a platform like @WordPress

With effect from May 2022, there is a @Visa Interchange Rate increase on VISA BUSINESS DEBIT CARDS to 1.15% on cards issued in the UK. These changes were expected 2020 and 2021 but were postponed due to the pandemic
