We had a fabulous visit from author Katharine Quarmby this morning📚 She read her beautiful story ‘The Adventures Below’ and showed all the children the process of how she became an author. We were all inspired by the visit. Thank you 🙏🏻

🎄Pantomime Fun🎄 All children and staff had a fantastic time watching the brilliant performance of 'Mother Goose' at Derby Arena today. There was lots of singing, dancing and audience participation! It was so lovely to see so many happy and smiling faces all in one place!

One of the hymns we’re learning this term is ‘Think of a World’. 🌸 🌳 The children are learning Makaton signs to accompany this hymn with Mrs Nemeth during our singing worship sessions and they’re all doing a fantastic job! 🌟

All children enjoyed another fabulous taster session of Karate this afternoon with Burnett Academy🥋. All children will have recieved a flyer from in case they wish to join. It would be fabulous to see some more children attend. 🌟

RS Coaching run three lunchtime sports sessions for us during the week and the feedback from children and staff is always extremely positive. Sports coaching sessions help us to structure our lunchtimes and have a positive impact on behaviour. 🌟💙

Our Owls group enjoyed their Woodland Wednesday exploration in the sunshine. We are fortunate enough to be able to visit a number of sites with Sunshine forest school. The children say the best thing about this site is the gigantic tree. 🌳 🍃
