@Pirat_Nation Yeah, well I had to pay $120 for my steam controller because it arrived defective and I had to pay to ship it back to them. Now I've paid an extra 20% and I still don't have a steam controller yet.

The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from." Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere." Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it." Activist: "Then just don't have the cow." Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle." Activist: "It's not that simple." Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."

@LundukeJournal OK, the handset cord was the 4 conductor, not the 6 conductor RJ11.. i forget the code for the 4 conductor... but all we did was crimp and they lasted freakin' forever.

@LundukeJournal I'm convinced that the problem with the apple cords was Steve Jobs... He insisted on specific colors and textures -- durability be damned. But seriously, even other name brand cords can't outlast a typical phone cord, and those things were just cut and an RJ11 crimped on!

Seriously. When did we forget how to make “a cord that doesn’t break in a week”? We used to endlessly fidget with that telephone cord. Then we used it as a whip. Then we tied things up with it. And the darn thing still worked for another three decades before we bought a new phone. Not because the cord (or the phone) was broken… just because we wanted a new wireless one that didn’t need the (apparently indestructible) cord.

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, and given six months to a year to live. I spent the past two years, trying numerous forms of treatment; radiation, chemo, a couple different kinds of targeted drug therapy, immunotherapy, and surgeries. I, also kept power over my health where I could do so. I fired my first oncologist who didn’t include me in the decision making. She basically viewed me as The Walking Dead. I found an oncologist who thought outside of the box and completely believed in my power to fight. I didn’t stop working out. I cut sugar from my diet (Keto), And I turned my worries to God. My body is bruised and beaten but my oncologist has informed me today that my latest CT-Scan with contrast, shows no active cancer. I’m not ringing any bell; I know the likelihood of reoccurrence is a strong probability. Yet, this is a major triumph that I want to share with my many friends on here who supported me. I appreciate all of your prayers and love. 🤍🙏🏼🤍
