Here is what every trader and investor must know 🧵👇 ⏰ 3:15 PM — Normal cash trading ends For shares covered under the Closing Auction Session, regular buying and selling in the equity cash market will stop at 3:15 PM. Do not confuse this with F&O contracts. 🔨 3:20 PM — The closing auction begins The exchange will collect final buy and sell orders. These orders will not necessarily execute immediately. They will enter an auction book so the exchange can discover one fair closing price. ⚖️ 3:30–3:35 PM — Orders are matched The exchange will find the price at which the maximum quantity of shares can be bought and sold. Brother, as per the current projection, if TCS goes near ₹1,335 and INFY near ₹447, the visible loss can increase from around ₹57 lakh to approx ₹1.11 crore.
