@ywitnessnews No you don't understand. My point was that just like Kobe, Darryn at his best is already good enough to win summer league games by himself with anyone on his team. That wasn't close to his best.

My takes from last night: AJ still looks very raw but he's huge, gets by you with long strides and can finish in traffic. His shot, handle and midrange all need work. His foul-baiting was disappointing to watch. Darryn didn't have it yesterday. Unforced turnovers, sloppy handle, missing shots he usually makes and even missing free throws. However, unlike AJ, his game still seems so much more polished at every level. He really missed having Ace to take some of the pressure off him, and he'll be better with Key bringing the ball up while he learns the NBA. He's still an absolute star in the making.

@Callystarr @McCadeP8 We could have just said "Darryn had a bad game" but instead everyone chose to blame his teammates. Were they the reason he was turning the ball over while bringing it up the floor. Darryn at his best would have beaten that Wizards summer league team by himself just like Kobe.

On the Darryn/Kobe comparison. Young Kobe was a fast and athletic leaper who sometimes played out of control trying to force things or make the flashy play. Darryn's game is more like 30 year old Kobe who had his offense perfectly figured out and didn't waste any energy.
