🤔 Is the communication partner Persistent? 💪Modeling and training are some of the most important parts of AAC. Making sure it's a part of every day and used throughout the day is one of the most important ways educators can support AAC use. #4PsofAAC
🤔 Is the AAC Personalized? ✨ Some personalization can easily be done by the AAC user, some will require some support. After a bit users may be able to program their own AAC. In the beginning they may need help. Focus on matching the features of the device to the users needs.
🤔 Is the AAC System Present? 📍 Now that we've talked about the AAC user side of the 4Ps, let's talk about the educator side. When thinking about the 4Ps as an educator, you'll be looking more at your class as a whole as well as at individual student needs. #4PsofAAC
